features to assist students of various age groups in researching
animals from around the world. These features include:

map on the homepage where students can locate animals by continent.
• An “Animal
Photos” section where teachers or students can download photos for
use in classrooms, reports or other types of activities. All of the
photos within the Animal Photos section been taken by members of The
Animal Spot and are available to teachers and students at no cost.
• Information and
photos about different classes and phyla within The Animal Kingdom.
• Activities for
students of younger ages, including word searches and coloring
pages.
Share the World
Share the World is an
educational programme designed to help students better understand and appreciate

sequence, and interesting tidbits about reticulated giraffes. "They prefer to
drink regularly, but can go without water for several days."

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Click to visit, and use the site search to find
more royalty-free giraffe photos for school reports or your website.
